A field experiment was conducted for trapping efficiency of three kinds of sex pheromone lure for Spodoptera litura Fab. in Lujiang County, Anhui Province from July to September in 2006 Water trays with rubber plug were baited with different sex pheromone blends 0, 1 and 2. Each lure treatment was designedwith four replicates. The results during a period of 64 days showed that the mean numbers of the target moths trapped each tray with lure 2, 1 and 0 were 169.5,65.5 and 1.5, respectively. The differences among three lure treatments were significantly (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the mean number of trapped moth by lure 2 was significantly higher than that of a commonused 20 W blacklight tube (P<0.01). Moreover, the date of capture peak with lure 2 was more consistent with the date of egg peak  in cotton fields than the black-light tube.
