中文摘要：This paper describes a simple method for mass rearing of small brown planthopper
Laodelphax striatellus Fallen (SBPH) using rice seedlings planted on a spon
ge mat in a plastic box. After soaked for 24 h in water, the rice seeds were so
wed on the sponge mat of the box. Rice seedlings could grow as tall as 6～8 cm
at 10 days after sowing at 26℃, suitable for the use of SBPH rearing. At a norm
al density of SBPH, rice seedlings grew well in the box and could last for about
30 days. An individual of SBPH could be reared in a glass tube with a single ri
ce seedling. The SBPH reared in glass tubes had high nymphal survival rate and f
ecundity. At the conditions of 21～27℃ and the photoperiod of 12∶12 h (L∶D),
the life span of SBPH was about 20～35 days and the nymphal survival rates for a
ll instars of nymphs were higher than 80%.
介绍一种以海绵为介质培育稻苗，进行灰飞虱Laodelphax striatellus Fallén 大批
量饲养的方法。水稻种子经24 h浸种后，平铺在垫有海绵的塑料盒中。在26℃下，10 d左右
稻苗可长至6～8 cm高，此时可以用于饲养灰飞虱。在一般饲养条件下稻苗能保持较好的长
势，并且一批稻苗可持续30 d左右。灰飞虱的单头饲养可采用单苗单管饲养法，该方法饲养
的灰飞虱若虫存活率高、产卵量大。21～27℃、光周期12∶12条件下，灰飞虱世代历期约为
20～35 d，各龄若虫的存活率均在80%以上。
