Advances in research on the biological control of the major gourd fly species in china

Abstract：In this paper advances in biological control research of major gourd flies in China. The natural enemies which had the main control functions were exhibited, the use of plant extracts, sex pheromones, chemical substance, trapping plants, and infertility technology were discussed also in this paper. Finally, the problems existing in the biological control and the future development trend of the continuous control gourd vegetable flies were discussed.
