Advances in ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene of the microsporidia in honey bees and bumble bees

Abstract：The ribosomal RNA is an ideal evolutionary clock and has been widely used to study the phylogenetics and evolution of microorganisms. Both honey bees and bumble bees can be infected by microsporidia, and the researches about the rRNA of microsporidia are mainly concentrated on sequencing the rRNA, the secondary structures of rRNA and detection and diagnosis of microsporidia by rRNA gene.These researches play an important role in studying phylogenetics and control of microsporidia in honey bees and bumble bees.
