Advances in molecular systematics of Cicadellidae

Abstract： This paper summarized the advances in molecular systematics of Cicadellidae (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae), including DNA extraction, gene sampling, taxon sampling, primers and amplification conditions. The researches are mostly focused on Deltocephaluslike, followed by Cicadellinae. Few studies have been conducted on other groups. The major methods of molecular systematics of Cicadellidae in the future will be a combination of sequences analyses of Some mitochondrial and nuclear genes，and analysis of all genome sequences, combined with morphological characters, the cocladogenesis of leafhoppers and their bacterial symbionts.
