A method for extracting the geneome DNA of Sitodiplosis mosellana

Abstract：Genome DNA was extracted successfully from a single individual of Sitodiplosis mosellana(Gehin), including adult, larva and pupa repectively. The concentration of DNA was 100～200 ng/μL, and the purity was 1.4～1.6. Experiment proved that the extracted DNA had high quality that could be used to RAPD analysis. The extraction method is simple, safe and economical, and it is helpful to the DNA extraction of small insects.
