This paper gives a review of application and development of molecular biology technology in phylogeography.mtDNA and internal transcribed spacer(ITS) have been widely used.The better research way is combining sequence and the other methods inclding RAPD, RFLP, isozyine electrophoresis SSCP and DSCP reviewed below.And using two analytical methods have been considered strong support for tree topologies.
