Abstract:An improved method of rearing striped flea beetle ( SFB) , Phyllotreta striolata ( Fabricius ) , was introduced. Adults of SFB were reared with a cage divided into two parts, and larvaewere reared in the concave of the radish, Rap hanus sativus L. The result showed that the higher survival rates of egg, larvae and pupae were achieved. Survival rates of egg , larvae and pupae were 8913%, 6510% ~ 7010% and 801 0%, respectively. It was an effective rearing methods of SFB in the laboratoray.
