Status of the studies on mosquito autogeny

Abstract：Autogeny refers to mosquito oviposit without bloodmeal, which is the result of adapting enviroment.Illustrating the mechanism of autogeny and activated autogeny would be useful for controlling of mosquitoborne disease.In this paper，the definition of autogeny was introduced and influenced factors，including genetic，nutritional，hormonal，mating，environmental et al.were summarized.The authors wish it would offer basic information for future studies on autogeny。
