The characteristics of insect community structures in different vegetations in Shihezi cultivation areas in Xinjiang.

Abstract：The diversity characteristics of insect community structrues in different types of vegetations in Shihezi agriculture cultivation area were studied by sampling method in five spots from July to September. Sixty-eight kinds of insects species were collected in this investigation, which are belonged to ten orders, thirty-four families. Among them, Jassidae and Aphididae are the main injurious insects and Coccinellidae and Chrysopidae are the primary natural enemies. The researching results show that the diversity index of insect community of nursery is the highest, that of corn-land is the lowest, that of fruit tree is higher than that of crop and that of intercrop vegetation is higher than that of pure vegetation.
