Abstract： Syrphidae is an important group of resources and natural enemy insects, which not only could be used for controlling the aphids and pollinating, but al so as important experimental materials for bionics. The research advances in the taxonomy, ecology, biological characteristics and biological control of Syrphid aes in recent years were introduced.
