Abstract: The population dynamics and spatial distribution of Tessaratoma papillosa (Drury) were surveyed in lychee orchards in Danzhou, Hainan during 2005-2006 and 2008-2009. The peaks of oviposition were in April and February. Nymph abundance peaked in March, and adult abundance in April and July. The different developmental stages of T. papillosa all had an aggregated distribution and adult individuals were mutually exclusive.
