The preliminary report on locust occurrence in Binzhou

Abstract： Asurvey was conducted to identify the locust species of Binzhou from 1989 to 2008. A total of 18 species belonging to 6 families and 15 genera were found. The dominant species, common species and rare species at each time of the year are described, together with each species’ distribution, and the life histories and habitats of 7 dominant and 2 rare species.
