A list of tachinid flies (Diptera, Tachinidae) from Xiaowutai Shan Nature Reserve, Hebei, China.

Abstract： Tachinid specimens (Diptera: Tachinidae) collected from Xiaowutai Shan Nature Reserve, Hebei Province, China were examined and identified to 67 species, 51 genera and 17 tribes belong to 4 subfamilies. Four genera were newly recorded in China: Hebia Robineau-Desvoidy, Arcona Richter, Strongygaster Macquart and Parhamaxia Mesnil. Seven species were newly recorded in China: Billaea irrorata (Meigen), Stomina angustifrons Kugler，Hebia flavipes R.-D., Pseudogonia parisiaca (R.-D.), Arcone amuricola Richter, Strongygaster globula (Meigen) and Parhamaxia discalis Mesnil. Thirty-four species were newly recorded from Hebei, and thirteen species were recorded as endemic to China. A preliminary study of the fauna and ecology of tachinid flies on Xiaowutai Shan was also conducted.
