Abstract:The susceptibility of Plutella xylostella (L.) to 11 kinds of insecticide and the relationship between insecticide use and resistance was investigated in the spring of 2010. The results indicate that susceptibility and resistance were generally inversely correlated but this relationship was not significant. However, susceptibility to Abamectin, Tebufenozide and βcypermethrin, to which the highest resistance was recorded, has decreased significantly. Controlled field experiments are required to determine if specific insecticides can continue to control P.xylostella.
