Relationships between fertility of Frankliniella occidentalis and nutrient contents in host foliage

Abstract： The fertility of Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) on 6 different vegetable hosts was investigated and their soluble sugar、soluble protein and chlorophyll content tested.The fertility of F.occidentalis displayed a significant positive correlation with soluble protein content, but was less correlated with soluble sugar content、chlorophyll content and the ratio of soluble protein and soluble sugar content.
