Observation on antennal sensillia of Leguminivora glycinivorella with scanning electron microscope

Abstract：The appearance and distribution of sensilla on the antenna of Leguminivora glycinivorella Matsumura wereobserved with a scanning electron microscope． The results show that the antenna ofL． glycinivorella adults were filiform， and were of seven types; sensilla trichodea， sensilla chaetica， sensilla squamiformia， sensilla styloconica， sensilla coeloconica，sensilla auricillica and BOhm bristles． Though the distribution of sensilla in both genders was the same，thetypes and numbers of sensilla differed in males and females．
