中文摘要：综述转基因昆虫技术的应用研究：转基因昆虫为农林害虫的防治提供了新策略，为削弱媒介昆虫传播能力提供了新方法；该技术已成为一种重要的分析基因功能的实验工具；同时转基因昆虫还是生产高附加值蛋白和昆虫自身改良的重要手段之一, 文章还对转基因昆虫的应用前景作了展望。
英文摘要：Transgenic insect technology has made great progress in recent years. It has been broadly applied in many areas. Genetic transformation of pest species has provided new strategies for insect pest management and methods to impair the transmission of pathogens by human disease vectors. Moreover, insect transgenesis will allow the analysis of gene function in diverse insect species. In addition, transgenic insect technology could provide a viable system for the large scale production of high value proteins, and also modify insect breed. Here we briefly review the recent development of implementation and discuss the perspective that remains in the applied area of insect transgenesis.
