中文摘要：褐顶毒蛾Lymantria apicebrunnea Gaede是红河自治州近年来发生的一种林木新害虫。在云南河口、屏边县1年发生1代，以卵越冬。以吡虫啉、病毒、高效氯氰菊酯混合粉剂为主，人工摘除卵块、病毒防治和灯光诱杀成虫相结合的综合防治技术。经大面积推广防治，基本控制了该虫危害，取得了较好防治效果。
英文摘要：Lymantria apicebrunnea Gaede is a new pest in Honghe Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It has one generation per year in Hekou and Pingbian Counties, and overwinters as egg．The effective integrated control methods include using pesticide, sprinkling,virus,cypermethrin, artificially removing eggs，and light trapping.
