在动物界,同种个体聚集现象较为普遍。聚集是昆虫适应环境变化、趋利避害的一种适应性策略。昆虫聚集行为的产生机制繁杂多样,多数学者认为环境异质性和昆虫个体之间的交流互动可导致昆虫聚集行为的产生,但其交流互动的内在机制的相关内容研究较少,主要集中在化学信号的传递和识别等方面。近20年来,有关昆虫聚集行为的研究逐渐深入,本文总结了20世纪70年代至今国内外关于昆虫聚集行为的研究成果,涉及聚集模式、聚集机制、聚集功能和意义以及适应性进化等研究,为今后研究昆虫的聚集行为提供一定的参考。
英文摘要:
Aggregation is a common phenomenon in the animal kingdom, particularly among insects. The reasons why insects aggregate are complex and varied. Most scholars attribute aggregation to environmental heterogeneity, communication, and interaction between conspecific individuals. Few studies have delved into the internal mechanism of communication and interaction, with most focusing on the transmission and recognition of chemical signals. There has been significant progress in research on insect aggregation over the past two decades. This review provides a comprehensive summary of domestic and international research on insect aggregation since the 1970’s. It covers various aspects of aggregation behavior, including patterns, mechanisms, functions, significance and adaptive evolution. It is, therefore, as a valuable resource for future research on insect aggregation.
