女贞瓢跳甲Argopistes tsekooni Chen是2003年在山东泰安地区木犀科植物上发生 的一种新害虫，严重危害金叶女贞(Ligustrum vicaryi)等植物的叶片。成虫在叶 背啃食，幼虫潜入叶内取食叶肉。该虫在山东泰安1年发生3代，以成虫在树冠下的疏松土、 沙石缝和枯枝落叶内越冬。翌年4月中下旬成虫出蛰。3代幼虫危害盛期分别为5月中旬～6月 中旬，6月下旬～7月下旬，8月上旬～9月上旬。
英文摘要： Argopistes tsekooni Chen as a new pest was found to infest the plant of Olea ceae in Tai'an, Shandong Province in 2003, which damaged leaves of Ligustrum v icaryi and other Oleaceae plants seriously. Adults damaged on the back of leav es, and larvae fed on mesophyll. It occurred three generations every year in Tai'an, and overwintered in soil, crevice and withered branch. Overwinter adults began to b e active in the middle of April, and the damaging period of three generations wa s the middle of May to the middle of June, the end of June to the end of July an d the first ten days of August to the first ten days of September, respectively.
