英文摘要: The vertical distribution pattern of Ips subelongatus Motschulsky galleries was examined using the aggregation indices of Iwao and Taylor. The results indicate that the number of I. subelongatus galleries has a linear relationship with different heights of larch trunks; the relationship being described by the equation y= - 10.867x+92.884 Galleries of I. subelongatus have a uniform spatial distribution with no difference in abundance between sunny and shaded sides of the tree. The optimum sampling number was determined for different gallery densities.
