Abstract：Apis cerana cerana Fabricisus is an economically important insect with characteristics such as olfactory sensitivity，cold resistance，heat hardiness，disease resistance and foraging efficiency． Using molecular biology to revealthe genetic basis of these and other traits has become a focus of apicultural research． Recently，considerable progress has been made in identifying genes related to royal jelly proteins，chemical communication and stress resistance． This paper summarizes recent research on the cloning，expression pattern and function of these three types of genes
