The jewel beetles (Buprestidae) intercepted on timbers from Papua New Guinea

Abstract：Eight species of jewel beetles （Buprestidae）belonging to 5 genera (Agrilus， Anilara， Chrysobothris， Belionota, and Cyphogastra) were intercepted on timbers from Papua New Guinea at ports of Jiangsu Province. An identification key to the world tribe of Buprestidae from Kerremans was translated into Chinese, provided with characters and illustrations of each genus and species. Brief introduction was given to the taxonomy of the quarantine Agrilus.
