[Objectives]  To conduct a quantitative study of wing shape variation in 5 grasshopper species of the genusOxya. [Methods]  Geometric morphometric methods, including landmarks, centroid size, principal component analysis, and thin-plate spline, were used to analyze wing shape variation. [Results]  Wing size and wing shape were significantly different among the 5 Oxya species, and the similarity of the fore and hind wing between different species is consistent with the phylogenetic relationships between them. The variable areas of the fore wing were the Precostal area, Costal area and Anal area, and the variable areas of the hind-wing were the subcostal area, costal area and jugal area. [Conclusion]  Wing shape variation in Oxya species can be used can be used as taxonomic characters.
