The major pests in shrubbery in Three-North Region of China and control strategy were briefly discussed. According to the characteristics of shrubbery eco-system, the integrated management strategy should be primarily focused on regulation based on monitoring, early warning, trapping techniques, selection of pest-resistant species and reasonably multitree species composition to keep high ability of self-regulation and stability of shrubbery ecosystem. In addition, the research progresses of Holcocerus hippophaecolus Hua, Chou, Fang et Chen in seabuckthorn and four boring pests in Artemisia spp. were introduced briefly.


