Abstract:

Dictyoploca japonica Moore is one of the important forest pests, which tends to break out and spread in some parts of China. Intersimple sequence repeats (ISSR) were used as molecular markers to detect the genetic diversity of 10 geographical populations of D. japonica. The results showed that 20 ISSR primers identified from 35 could create 299 distinguishable bands, 250 of which were polymorphic. The percentage of polymorphism was 83.61%. The relative distance values between different D. japonica races were 0.231 5~0.414 7. Cluster analyses were performed based on the genetic distance matrix by using UPGMA method, which demonstrated that population differentiation has taken place in D. japonica
