Abstract:        The well known obligate pollination mutualism in figs-fig wasps and yuccas-yucca moths is the most classical example between insects and plants. Many documented cases have provided essential steps toward understanding the mechanism of coevolution in flowering plants and their pollinators. The recently discovered Epicephala moths-Euphorbiaceae trees mutualism shared many similar traits with figs-fig wasps and yuccas-yucca moths associations. In this paper, we present a brief review on the investigations of Epicephala moths-Euphorbiaceae trees association.
