Abstract: Isoceras sibirica(Alpheraky)is a serious stem borer of Asparagus officinalis (L.).The experimental results showed that applying phonix 50% (EC) of 300×liquid at the base of asparagus stems in midMay to midJune was the optimum method to control I. sibirica larvae. Its control efficency could reach 92.5% and the weighted Borda value was the hightest(2.9)in all of the treatments tested. The damage of wood moth to the asparagus seedlings (one aged seedlings) could be avoided by adjusting the sowing date.
