First report of Singapora nigropunctata in Hainan

Abstract： A breakout of Singapora nigropunctata Mahmood was firstly found on leaves of Pterocarpus indicus in some regions of Hainan Province in June, 2009. It is a new record in Hainan. The morphological characteristics of S. nigropunctata were depicted. Preliminary investigation on the occurrence and harm of S. nigropunctata was conducted, and suggestion for controlling was provided.
