The regulation of ecdysteroid on growth and reproductive process

Abstract：Neurohormones, JH and ecdysteroids play an essential role in the regulation of insect development and reproduction. In this paper, we reviewed the function and regulating profile of ecdysteroid in insect growth and reproduction from three aspects, the process of ecdysteroid sysnthesis, the mode of action of 20E, JH and 20E regulatory interplay.
