Abstract:
The developmental periods, the development threshold temperature (DTT) and effective accumulative temperature (EAT) of Semiothisa cinerearia Bremer et Grey were studied under five constant temperatures in the laboratory. The results showed that egg, larva, pupa and adult can normally develop from 20℃ to 30℃. The DTT of egg, larvae, pupa, adult and the yearly generation were (4.20±0.95), (5.80±0.95), (8.28±0.30), (16.92±0.50) and (9.06±0.21)℃respectively,and their EAT were (71.27±2.29), (300.529±14.31), (354.20±8.28),and (52.45±2.52) and (752.79±10.46) degree-day respectively. Based on the investigation of its annual life history, it is concluded that the occurrence of S. cinerearia was 3.4~3.6 generations annually in Shenyang. The results are according with practical situation.
